2013 - Overview and Results

and excitement were on display as powerboats from the Lake
of the Ozarks but also around the country hit the waters for
the first ever Lake Race 2013.

watched the race from the historic Bagnell Dam.
In the first
ever sanctioned Pontoon Boat Race, Terry Kuchenberg with
Midwest Boats out of Iowa came in first. As a result of the
connection between the Offshore Super Series and the
American Power Boat Association, Kuchenberg will also be
recognized as an international Olympic Champion! Carolyn
Dorris from the Lake of the Ozarks was second, followed by
her husband, Jim Dorris in third place.
winners were the CMS Offshore Racing team in the Open /
Extreme Performance Class. The team from Macks Creek,
Missouri brought home first place. The Cat Can Do team was
second followed by Fastboats Marine Group out of Pompano
Beach, Florida finished third, LO Profile from Denver,
Colorado came in fourth and the Broadco team from Clinton
Township, Michigan brought home fifth place.
The Pro-Am 1
class was won by the Batman team out of Sunrise Beach,
Missouri. Fastboats Marine Group from Pompano Beach, Florida
The Second Amendment team from Sebastian, Florida brought
home first place in the Pro-Am 2 class. Advanced Marine
Racing was second.
The Pro-Am 4
class was won by the Apex Manufacturing and Design team from

the Super Stock class was Talbot Excavating. They were
followed by the Smart Auto Mart Online dot Com team in
second and bringing home third place was the Fluid Sealing
already being made for Lake Race 2014 on June 7th and 8th
once again in front of the Bagnell Dam. Once those plans are
